PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy covers Artleaf's website (artleaf.app) and our iOS app — one policy, both platforms. By using either, you agree to what's below.
1. Information we collect
Account info: your email or phone number (whichever you sign in with), name, age, location, artist statement, and the categories/goals you select during onboarding. Usage info: which opportunities you view or save, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) that any web service collects.
2. How we use it
To run the service: authenticate you, personalize your feed against your categories and goals, remember what you've saved, and respond when you contact us. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models or for anything beyond operating and improving Artleaf.
3. Third parties we use
We rely on a small number of service providers to run Artleaf: Resend (sending sign-in codes by email), Twilio (sending sign-in codes by SMS), MongoDB Atlas (storing data), and Apple (if you sign in with Apple). Each only receives what it needs to do its job — none of them get to use your data for their own purposes.
4. We don't sell your data
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Full stop.
5. Cookies & session data
The website uses a single auth cookie to keep you signed in — no third-party ad or tracking cookies. The iOS app stores your sign-in token securely on your device (Keychain), not in a cookie. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Umami) to understand aggregate traffic — it doesn't use cookies or track you individually across sites.
6. Your rights
You can edit your profile at any time from the app or website, and delete your account entirely from Settings in the iOS app (this permanently removes your data). You can also just email us.
7. Children's privacy
Artleaf isn't intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
8. If Artleaf introduces paid features
Artleaf is free today. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll update this policy before collecting any payment information, and payment processing would be handled by a dedicated, PCI-compliant processor — we would never store your card details ourselves.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data — holla@artleaf.app.
